The Detroit Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating 19-year-old Xavier Edwards, who went missing in Detroit. According to ClickOnDetroit, Edwards was last seen on Thursday around 10:30 p.m. in the 14000 block of Faircrest Street. His clothing at the time of his disappearance has not been reported. His family has expressed concern that he may be experiencing a mental health issue.
According to a social media post by the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Unit, Edwards is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 155 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo reading "1980" on the left side of his neck and a crown tattoo on his left forearm.
The Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Unit has also issued a social media appeal. Shared on their official Facebook page, the post included a photo of Edwards and requested public assistance in locating him. The post encouraged anyone with information to contact the Detroit Police Department’s 9th Precinct at 313-596-5900.
