The Village Club in Bloomfield Hills is holding its annual Holiday Boutique, pairing a day of local shopping with the club's longtime lunch tradition. This year's event brings together 26 vendors, nearly all of them based in Michigan, offering everything from handmade chocolate to custom woodworking ahead of the holiday season.

The Holiday Boutique and Luncheon will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Bloomfield Hills, according to ClickOnDetroit. The Village Club's own events calendar lists the gathering at thevillageclub.org as starting at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 at 190 East Long Lake Road. Tickets, which include a buffet lunch, are available through the club's website.

This year's vendor lineup includes Kwik's Chocolate, The Art Loft, Joe's Custom Woodworks, Epiphany Glass and Hearty Greetings, per the station's report. Bobbi Hamilton, director of membership at The Village Club, said the people behind those businesses and their Michigan-made products are community neighbors, not distant brands.

A Shopping Day Built Around Local Stories

Hamilton said each business brings its own story to the event, and that supporting those vendors supports the community as a whole, the outlet reported. Organizers said supporting Michigan-based businesses is central to the event's mission, with every dollar spent at the boutique putting money in a Michigan family's pocket, according to the same account.

The boutique is designed to be more than a simple shopping trip, Hamilton said. She described the event as a day to shop, have lunch and enjoy the club's food alongside friends, framing it as a social outing as much as a marketplace.

How This Year Compares To Last

The Village Club's 2025 Holiday Boutique & Lunch ran Nov. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., also at 190 East Long Lake Road, according to The Village Club. That event promised fabulous shopping opportunities, a delicious buffet lunch and irresistible holiday desserts, with more than 30 curated vendors offering fashions, jewelry, décor and gifts.

Tickets for the 2025 event cost $48.95 per person and required reservations, Michigan Mama News reported at the time. That same coverage placed the event at The Village Club in Bloomfield Hills, with more than 30 vendors selling clothing, beauty products, jewelry, décor and culinary gifts. CBS News Detroit also previewed the 2025 Holiday Boutique and Luncheon.

With this year's event set to gather 26 vendors on Nov. 5, shoppers in Bloomfield Hills and across Oakland County will once again have a chance to combine holiday errands with a sit-down lunch, continuing a format the club has leaned on in back-to-back years.
