
Yesterday morning, a deadly shooting at Charlotte’s Queen’s Cabaret on Atando Avenue left two people dead, according to local authorities. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) is investigating the double homicide, which occurred around 4:47 a.m. Officers found 29-year-old D’andre Weaver with gunshot wounds and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he later died, as reported by QC News.
The second victim, found in a vehicle that had crashed nearby, also suffered gunshot wounds. The individual, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died, as per WBTV.
According to WCNC, CMPD initially responded to a call for assault with a deadly weapon with injury before discovering Weaver at the club. The second victim, found following the car crash, has not yet been publicly identified. Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
