A deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested Reginald Pugh on November 20 after observing his vehicle operating without headlights or taillights on the 20300 block of Holzwarth Drive. Pugh exhibited clear signs of intoxication, with breath samples returning high readings of 0.179 and 0.175, which is more than double the legal limit, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Pugh was subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail for driving under the influence, an incident Constable Herman's office publicized to warn the public about the dangers of impaired driving. Despite the high breath alcohol concentration, his bond was set at a notably low amount of $100.00, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Reginald Pugh was arrested, and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 16," according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their facebook page.
