On Wednesday, a traffic stop in the 100 block of FM 1960 escalated into a chase when driver Yefrin Velasquez attempted to evade deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Motorcycle Division. The pursuit ended when Velasquez collided with another vehicle and a tree, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Yefrin Velasquez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with felony Evading in a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $25,000.00 out of the 178th District Court," as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4. The incident shows the dangers of fleeing law enforcement and the swift response by deputies.
