The City of Durham, announced updated holiday service schedules, noting that most city offices will remain closed. Emergency services remain operational, with the city stating, "911 always available," as reported by the City of Durham.
Waste collection will see minor adjustments, as the city clarified, "Only Thursday garbage, recycling & yard waste collections will be delayed by one day to today & Friday, Jan. 2." All other collection days will continue as regularly scheduled, as stated by the City of Durham.
According to the City of Durham on their Facebook page, GoDurham and GoDurham ACCESS transportation services will continue with "regular service today." The city also says that "All other collection days will follow the regular schedule," so most other services will continue as usual.
