A tragic accident in Northwest Baltimore has resulted in the death of a 75-year-old woman. WMAR-2 News reported that the accident occurred last night when officers arrived at the scene in the 3100 block of West Northern Parkway, finding a 2018 Tesla and a 2020 Nissan had collided.
According to the details provided by WMAR-2 News, the elderly driver of the Nissan was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The 31-year-old Tesla driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. An additional passenger, a 7-year-old child in the Tesla, was also hospitalized as a safety measure.
In a parallel account of the incident by FOX Baltimore, officers responded to the crash at around 10:05 p.m. Medical personnel at the scene provided immediate assistance to the critically injured woman upon their arrival. The Baltimore Police's Crash Team detectives have taken ownership of the investigation.
