Commuters in Charlotte County should brace for travel disruptions as intermittent lane closures on Midway Boulevard between Hariet Street and Conway Boulevard are scheduled, reports the Public Works Department. According to Charlotte County, the closures will occur from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., starting Today, through Tuesday, and will pick up again on Monday, continuing through Jan. 9. Blue Streak Telecommunications will be installing underground fiber during these times.
The Public Works Department advises drivers to exercise caution near construction zones during peak hours. These upgrades to the city's telecommunications infrastructure may cause temporary disruptions.
