New insights have been shared concerning the Phoenix motorcycle tragedy that took place on the evening of November 28, where a dispute between two bikers ended in gunfire and a subsequent, fatal hit-and-run. A woman who witnessed the event firsthand has recently come forward, offering a grim account of the unfolding violence. As FOX 10 Phoenix reported, she observed the shooter hit and killed by a speeding vehicle shortly after he fired the deadly shots.

At around 11 p.m., the witness, identified only as Casey, saw a man identified as Scott Kikes, a father and husband, fatally shot by a motorcyclist, who was then struck by a car while crossing the intersection of 7th Avenue and the I-17 overpass. She detailed, "The way when the guy got hit and he flew, it was like unreal. You don’t see something like that," in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix. The accused shooter, Job Martinez, was hit by a vehicle that was reportedly speeding and running red lights, according to Casey's perspective.

In a distressing twist of fate, both the shooter and the victim died at the scene. The driver involved in the hit and run did not answer questions when police arrived, leaving the circumstances of the crash shrouded in speculation amidst whispers of a biker gang feud, as per Yahoo.com. "We are hearing a lot of those rumors. We are going through that information. People are calling in tips about it. All of that information we are looking into," said Sgt. Jen Zak of the Phoenix Police Department as she addressed the speculation, as FOX 10's report noted.

Emphasizing the human toll of the incident, Casey expressed her intention to come forward for the sake of the families affected by the tragedy. "Their families need closure. Their families need to know what happened. That's somebody’s son, father, husband, brother," she told FOX 10 Phoenix. As the police continue their investigation into the incident, the community awaits answers on whether the driver implicated in the hit-and-run will face charges. At present, no charges have been filed.
