Around 1 a.m., deputies were called to the 1700 block of Rutledge Road in unincorporated Longwood, where they discovered a crashed vehicle and its driver deceased from a gunshot wound. According to a report from ClickOrlando, two armed motorists engaged in an altercation, which escalated when one of the individuals fired into the vehicle of the other, causing the vehicle to veer off and crash.
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office stated that the shooter remained at the scene and was detained for questioning.
