
The City of Fayetteville has concluded its Telling Our Story economic development video series with the release of the tenth and final episode. In an official announcement, "Connected Community" highlights the city’s local economy, featuring entrepreneurs and small business owners sharing their experiences in starting, growing, and sustaining their businesses.
The series, which has run for the past five months, highlighted investment opportunities, smart growth initiatives, quality-of-life improvements, and infrastructure revitalization in Fayetteville. According to the City of Fayetteville, it features stories from local residents and businesses to showcase the city’s community.
Economic Development Director Lori Funderwhite highlighted the initiative’s goal of showing the city’s progress in turning vision into development. "From the beginning, this series has focused on demonstrating how Fayetteville turns vision into measurable progress by aligning public investment, private enterprise, and community priorities," Funderwhite said in the official announcement. The series also illustrates the relationship between local government and businesses in supporting investment and development within the city.
The final installment features small business owners from the downtown area, including Awkward Brewing, The Hummingbird Room, and Kingdom Corners, home to Frida's Restaurant. All ten videos from the Telling Our Story series will remain accessible on the City of Fayetteville’s official website and social media channels.
