The Raleigh Youth Council will host its annual Santa’s Workshop at Abbotts Creek Park on December 13. The event is open to children up to 12 years old and offers holiday crafts with help from teen volunteers. Attendance is free.
According to the Raleigh Youth Council website, children can make holiday crafts while listening to seasonal music. Families who want to attend should register on RecLink, as space is limited. The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., giving families time to explore the park or relax afterward.
The City of Raleigh stated, "The Raleigh Youth Council invites little elves-in-training to create holiday treasures with the help of our talented teen facilitators."
