The Gaston County Office of Emergency Management and Fire Services shared on a social media post that the call was received at 1:29 p.m., with reports indicating that individuals might be trapped inside.
Gaston County EMS confirmed a fully involved structure fire upon arrival. A search of the residence, completed at 2:11 p.m., found no occupants. The road remained closed while fire crews worked to contain the blaze. According to the social media update, the operation is ongoing, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is planned.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene to assist in fighting the fire, including Ag Center Fire Department, Tryonota Fire Department, Dallas Fire Department, Bessemer City Fire Department, and North Gaston Fire Department, along with GEMS, Gaston County 911, and the Gaston County Office of Emergency Management and Fire Services.
