
During the week of Thanksgiving, a time typically marked by reduced services and seasonal closures, the city of Gastonia's transport system, GoGastonia, sustained a commendable level of operation, delivering 3,050 rides to 855 active riders. As declared in a social media update from the City of Gastonia Government, the service performance saw a palpable improvement, with 91.1% of ride demands met an uptick from the previous 84.6%.
The figures released indicated not only an increase in demand fulfillment but also swifter pick-up times, now averaging 22.9 minutes and an average trip distance of just 4.8 miles. "Your trips matter. We’re proud to keep Gastonia moving," the City of Gastonia Government post emphatically stated
