Deputies Ask School To Lock Down, Staff Move Students Inside
El Capitan High School said it went into lockdown at the request of law enforcement and confirmed that "All students and staff are safe," according to a statement provided to ABC 10News. Because classes had already been dismissed, staff focused on rounding up students who were still on or near campus and bringing them into secure indoor locations while deputies remained in the neighborhood.
