A Harford County teenager has been charged with first-degree murder following the death of a 32-year-old man in a November shooting in Baltimore, law enforcement officials have reported. Tyrell Tucker, 19, is alleged to have shot Broderick Morris, who was found with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to them at a local hospital. The fatal incident took place in the early morning hours on the 300 block of West Lexington Street, as reported by NottinghamMD.
According to FOX Baltimore, officers responded to the scene of the crime on Nov. 2 at approximately 1:35 a.m., only to discover Morris in critical condition. More than a month passed before authorities took Tucker into custody. The arrest was made at his residence without resistance last Thursday.
As the case moves into the judicial system, BPD Homicide Detectives have taken over the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Morris’s death and prepare a thorough case for upcoming proceedings.
