Harris County deputies responded to illegal street racing last Saturday, spotting two motorcycles and a car speeding down the 1300 block of N Sam Houston Parkway W in a "reckless and dangerous manner." While not all racers were caught, deputies successfully stopped one vehicle involved in the incident, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Omar Ali was behind the wheel of the stopped vehicle. "Omar Ali was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Racing on the Highway. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 7," as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Ali’s bail for an illegal racing incident drew attention from local residents. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, the office continues to monitor such activities, and residents are encouraged to report illegal racing.
