Officers of Harris County Constable Mark Herman's precinct took an armed and intoxicated individual into custody after a disturbance call on Piedmont Creek Trail. According to an official Facebook post from Constable Precinct 4, deputies found that the suspect was not only under the influence but also unlawfully in possession of a firearm and linked to an assault.
The individual, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was arrested without further events unfolding dangerously, an outcome too often not the case in situations where guns and alcohol interlace. The charges against the suspect include "Felon in Possession of a Firearm", "Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)", and "Assault," as detailed on Precinct 4's Facebook page.
