On Monday, deputies responding to a disturbance call in Harris County made a DWI arrest that also resolved multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants. According to a Facebook post, Constable Mark Herman’s Office deputies arrived on Bright Point Court and observed the male suspect quickly leaving the scene.
The deputies conducted a traffic stop shortly after spotting the suspect and identified him as Joshua Kiker. Signs of intoxication were observed, and field sobriety tests confirmed their suspicions. Constable Mark Herman stated that Kiker was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the outstanding warrants and charged with driving while intoxicated, with bond set at $100.
Kiker’s arrest addressed both the driving while intoxicated charge and his outstanding warrants. The actions of Constable Herman’s deputies highlighted their focus on enforcing the law and maintaining public safety.
