
On Saturday, December 6, Constable deputies of Mark Herman's Office apprehended an adult male, Gilmar Lobos, and a female, Claudia Marin, in connection with an ongoing mail theft operation and other charges, according to a post by the Harris County Constable's Office, Precinct 4. The arrest occurred in the 12170 block of the Northwest Freeway, where Lobos, who was wanted on a felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance, was taken into custody.
Lobos was also linked to mail thefts across several communities, including Cy-Hill MUD, Fairfield, and MUD 391, following the recovery of items such as stolen mail, identification cards, a passport, credit cards and tools purportedly utilized in the thefts, Marin initially misled deputies by providing a false name and birth date, she was later confirmed to be wanted for Evading on Foot in Harris County.
As the investigation unfolded, items recovered by Constable deputies expanded the charges against the duo, with Lobos facing a slew of additional accusations, including Possession of a Criminal Instrument, Fraudulent Use of Identification, and Mail Theft.
“Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Claudia Marin's bond was set at $607.00 out of County Courts 5 and 7. Gilmar Lobos' bond was set at $60,000.00 out of the 228th District Court," stated in the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 post.
