An incident on Lee Road has escalated from a routine welfare check into an arrest this past week. Deputies were dispatched to the 20200 block of Lee Road on Saturday, December 6, after receiving reports of a man lying in a ditch nearby; the report turned out to be a potentially intoxicated individual named Jason Jordan, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Witnesses initially alerted the authorities out of concern for the man's safety, and upon arrival, the deputies encountered Jordan, who displayed signs that suggested he was under the influence, and during the deputies' attempt to help ensure his welfare, Jordan became physical and a struggle ensued, but officials were able to subdue and detain Jordan with no further incident, however not without a brief confrontation.
The Harris County Constable Precinct 4, headed by Constable Mark Herman, shared details of the arrest on their official Facebook page: "Jason Jordan was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Interfering with Duties of a Public Servant. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 8." - Constable Mark Herman.
