Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office stopped Avangene Harris on the 17300 block of Woodlands Hills Drive last Monday on suspicion of intoxicated driving. Precinct 4 said Harris showed several signs of impairment, prompting deputies to conduct field sobriety tests, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The tests confirmed she was driving under the influence, leading to her arrest. Authorities also noted that Harris had a previous DWI conviction, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
“Avangene Harris was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated 2ndd Offense,” according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, with a bail set at $100. The post also encouraged residents to stay informed on community safety by following their updates and using the “C4 NOW” app, which provides live information on crime, arrests, and traffic incidents.
