
The City of Henderson has opened registration for its seasonal lineup of events and classes. The programs include a variety of options for all age groups, such as indoor swim lessons for children and fitness sessions for seniors. These offerings provide opportunities for residents to participate in activities, develop skills, and engage with the community.
Registration is open for swimming lessons aimed at helping children develop water safety and swimming skills. The City of Henderson is offering opportunities for residents to try new hobbies or continue participation in arts and crafts. The Bird Preserve Maintenance Day and Bird Preserve Egg-cellent Adventure are also scheduled to return, providing activities focused on nature and conservation.
As year-end activities continue, the city is offering several holiday-themed events. Residents can register for Merry Grinchmas at Heritage Bark Park on Saturday, attend the Winter Solstice at the Bird Viewing Preserve on December 21, or for young athletes, participate in the Pre-Season Holiday Basketball Camp from December 29 to 31. These events are scheduled to provide seasonal activities for the community.
Residents are encouraged to register promptly, as sign-ups began on Tuesday and will continue until all spots are filled. Registration is available online or in person at city recreation centers.
