Today, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office received a tip regarding a stolen vehicle expected in the area. Deputies located the vehicle on Icard Ridge Road and conducted a traffic stop, resulting in the arrest of Ethan Trae Kistler, a 26-year-old Hildebran resident.
The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office reported via social media post that officers conducted a search and traffic stop after receiving the tip. Kistler was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and methamphetamine, along with misdemeanors including having an open container of alcohol and operating a commercial vehicle without a valid license.
Authorities also reported that Kistler had outstanding warrants from Burke County. After his arrest, he was taken to the Alexander County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond pending a court appearance on December 8.
