Members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Volunteer Patrol provided support to a local family whose home was destroyed by a fire the day after Thanksgiving. According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, the fire left the family without their possessions and their family dog.
The Volunteer Patrol purchased two new bicycles for the family’s children, ages 11 and 14. The gifts were delivered to the children, who were reportedly surprised and appreciative of the gesture, the post stated.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office highlighted the Volunteer Patrol’s actions as part of their ongoing efforts to assist community members in need.
