Las Vegas police pulled 15 suspected impaired drivers off the road during a holiday DUI blitz last Saturday, a concentrated push to catch motorists mixing booze and busy roads. In all, officers wrote 70 citations and logged 20 total arrests over the course of the operation.
Teams from LVMPD's Convention Center Area Command, South Central Area Command, the Traffic Division and 911 Communications joined forces for the sweep. The crackdown led to 15 DUI arrests, five additional arrests and the recovery of one firearm, according to FOX5 Las Vegas.
