A Houston plastic surgeon is facing a felony charge for allegedly performing surgery while under the influence of alcohol. Dr. Azul Shirazali Jaffer, 50, with a long practice and a five-star rating, risks more than just his reputation after being indicted by the Sugar Land Police Department.
The Sugar Land PD detailed that Jaffer was arrested on Monday, with the indictment following suit.
