Authorities in Houston are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred last Saturday around 10:40 p.m. at 3801 Hickock Lane, resulting in the death of one male and injuries to a 15-year-old female, who is expected to recover. The male victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to the City of Houston.
HPD patrol officers were responding to a disturbance call when they were drawn to the sound of gunfire at the scene, where they found both victims with gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead, while detectives from the HPD Homicide Division continue to investigate the incident, as reported by the City of Houston.
A large gathering on Hickock Lane turned into a fight, and an unidentified Black male fired a gun. Police want to speak with a man seen on video near the scene who may have information.
