
Houston authorities are investigating the death of an 81-year-old woman whose body was found with a head wound on Sunday morning inside a townhome at 3100 Murworth Drive. HPD patrol officers discovered her unresponsive on the bedroom floor around 10:50 a.m., and paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene, according to the City of Houston.
Detectives D. Higgs and B. Stephens from the HPD Homicide Division are leading the investigation. The cause of death remains under review pending autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, as reported by the City of Houston.
