
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is searching for a Hispanic male suspect involved in a robbery that began as shoplifting on October 21 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The incident occurred at a general store on the 1100 block of Cavalcade, where the suspect ignored rules about leaving his backpack at the register, collected items without paying, and assaulted an employee while trying to retrieve it, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, red shorts, and black shoes. Authorities are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest or charging of a suspect. Tips must be submitted directly to remain anonymous and eligible for the reward. They can be given by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), online on the Crime Stoppers website, or through the mobile app. The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is asking for public help in finding the suspect.
