
Tragedy struck last Monday evening in the 600 block of Hahlo Street near Lyons Avenue, where 28-year-old Ambrosia Swain was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to Ben Taub Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased, as reported by the City of Houston.
Houston police later released surveillance photos of a Hispanic male person of interest, described as between five feet four inches and five feet seven inches tall and wearing all black. According to the City of Houston, the man was last seen fleeing the scene on foot shortly after the stabbing.
The Houston Police Department Homicide Division, led by Sergeants C. Lafour and R. Olive and Detectives R. Waterwall and T. Tyler, has identified a male seen in surveillance images as a person of interest in the death of Ms. Swain, who was reportedly last seen with this individual before her death. Authorities say the motive remains unclear and are asking anyone with information about the person’s identity or whereabouts to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS, as stated by the City of Houston.
