The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is seeking the public’s help to locate Joseph Aguilar and Alejandra Banegas, both 20, who are wanted for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The incident occurred on November 2, after a man met a woman through a dating app and was lured to the 3700 block of Turner Street, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
At that location, Aguilar allegedly confronted the victim with a small assault rifle, demanding his belongings. During the encounter, the victim was fired upon but escaped unharmed, though his vehicle was struck multiple times, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division issued warrants on November 19 for Aguilar (warrant #1941542) and Banegas (warrant #1941543) through the Harris County District Attorney’s office, linked to the 338th District Court. Their whereabouts are unknown. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to their arrest.
