
Houston will see a change from fog and clouds to mostly sunny weather before Christmas. Thursday’s fog is expected to clear by the afternoon, with highs near 76°F and northwest winds up to 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service. A weak front on Friday will bring cooler temperatures and lower humidity, but temperatures are expected to rise again over the weekend.
FOX 26 Houston reports a wet Wednesday with showers and isolated storms possible due to a weak disturbance in Southeast Texas, clearing up by the weekend. Temperatures are expected to rise, with highs near 80 degrees for Christmas Day, giving the holiday a springlike feel.
Friday night will see lows around 53 degrees with southeast winds near 5 mph, followed by a mostly sunny Saturday with highs around 77 degrees. Into next week, temperatures will continue to climb, with a slight chance of Sunday afternoon showers, leaving Houstonians with "near record heat for Santa to deal with as he's delivering those gifts for Christmas!"
