Authorities have taken a woman into custody following a reported incident of violence that left an elderly man amongst others with injuries. The Harris County Constable Precinct 4 reported a disturbance in the northern Houston area, with deputies dispatched to the scene on Pebble Pine Trail earlier this week.
Constable Mark Herman's deputies arrived to find that a 67-year-old male, along with two other individuals, had been assaulted. The suspect, identified as Clarissa Evans, is alleged to have caused visible injuries along with pain. In a statement obtained by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook post, the constable's office revealed, "Clarissa Evans was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Injury to the Elderly and two counts of Assault."
Evans' bond was assessed at $13,000.00 across the charges, with the court proceedings slated to be held in the 339th District Court and County Court 14. The Harris County Constable Precinct 4 announcement also encouraged locals to follow their social media channels for ongoing updates on crime, arrests, and safety tips in the area. The constable’s office says community members can download the “C4 NOW” app for live crime and traffic updates.
