The Tampa Police Department is currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of two deceased individuals, identified as an elderly couple, in their Tampa residence. As per reports confirmed by FOX 13 News, officers were dispatched to a home on the 4100 block of West Palmira Ave for a wellness check initiated by a concerned friend. This individual had not seen or been able to communicate with the couple for several months.
Upon arrival, shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday, police discovered the bodies. There appears to currently be no sign pointing to foul play involved in the couple’s demise, an ongoing situation the department is thoroughly examining. In honing their investigative precision, the Tampa Police Department has indicated an active pursuit to uncover the circumstances of this event, according to details provided by WFLA News Channel 8.
The authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased or any potential causes of death, citing the need for an exhaustive review of the facts before more information is made public.
As the community waits to understand more about their neighbors who passed in such quiet isolation, the Tampa Police Department is asking anyone with information that might be relevant to the investigation to please come forward. At this point, "there is no indication of foul play," TPD told WTSP 10 Tampa Bay, underscoring the need to thoroughly look into every aspect of the couple's passing. As the department continues to investigate, further updates will be provided.
