
An iPhone emergency alert led authorities to a home in the 14700 block of Susie Lane, CR 442, in Alvin, Brazoria County. Deputies were dispatched after receiving a crash alert from the device, according to Click2Houston.
Law enforcement responded to a report of a possible physical fight and stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies said 28-year-old Aalaha Harden did not follow their commands, as reported by FOX 26 Houston.
Authorities responded to an alert on Susie Lane and found 30-year-old Sarah Garcia with multiple stab wounds. She was airlifted to HCA Hospital in Clear Lake but was pronounced dead. Harden was arrested and charged with murder and resisting arrest, and is being held at the Brazoria County Detention Center with bail set at over one million dollars. Investigators are continuing to examine the case.
