The spirit of the season is alive and thriving in Jacksonville Beach where local police have rallied the community together for a cause that’s all about giving back. In a recent social media update from the City of Jacksonville Beach Police Department, a heartfelt thanks was extended to all those who contributed to their Stocking Stuffer Project.
This initiative has been instrumental in collecting gifts for the less fortunate students at San Pablo Elementary School. The call for donations was met with an overwhelming response, with one box overflowing and another nearly full.
"Because of you, less fortunate students at San Pablo Elementary School will have something to open and will feel a little extra special this Christmas," the department stated in their Facebook post announcement.
