Jacksonville residents had a busy weekend with the Holiday River Fest last Saturday and a Jaguars win on Sunday. The City of Jacksonville posted in a social media post, stating, “Happy Victory Monday Duval! What a weekend with Holiday River Fest Saturday and a Jags win yesterday.”
The City of Jacksonville also thanked people who attended the events: “Thank you to everyone who came out to ring in the holiday season with us.” The local government highlighted both the city’s NFL team win and the community’s participation in the Holiday River Fest, an annual holiday event in Jacksonville.
The department's Facebook post stated, “We love seeing our riverfront active and full of smiles,” and encouraged residents to “Make it happen Jacksonville” and carry the energy through the week.
