According to NWS forecasts, the likelihood of showers increases toward the weekend, including a 30 percent chance of rain on Friday afternoon. Friday is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high near 78 degrees and potential wind gusts up to 20 mph.
Looking toward the weekend, Saturday is forecast to have a 50 percent chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 69 degrees, with rain chances increasing Saturday night. On Sunday, the probability of precipitation rises to 80 percent.
Clearer conditions are expected next week, with partly sunny skies on Monday and a high of around 65 degrees. Temperatures are forecast to drop into the mid-40s Monday night. By Wednesday, Jacksonville is likely to see sunny conditions with a high near 64 degrees.
