The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office shared a social media post celebrating the Jaguars’ top spot in the AFC South. "Number 1 in the AFC South! 🐾 The Jaguars are on top of the division, and our hundreds of officers, community service officers, and civilian team members who worked today’s rainy game are fired up!" the Facebook post read, highlighting both the team’s victory and the efforts of personnel who ensured safety during the event.
The Facebook post also mentioned the potential for a home playoff game and the associated safety considerations. "We’d love nothing more than to protect and serve at a home playoff game this season… just saying," the Sheriff's Office wrote.
The department also reminded the public to "celebrate responsibly. Don’t drink and drive, know your limits, and be kind," according to a social media post.
