The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office shared via Facebook post a look at the work of their Traffic Enforcement Unit. Officer Tanner May was shown patrolling Duval County school zones and issuing citations to drivers exceeding the speed limit, highlighting the ongoing issue of speeding in these areas.
Drivers were warned that reducing speed only after entering the zone could still result in a citation. These measures aim to improve safety in school zones.
