During this year’s event, each child received a $250 gift card for shopping, with officers accompanying them throughout the store. According to a social media post by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the gift cards were provided by JaxPAL, an organization supporting community initiatives. The post noted that officers assisted children in selecting gifts during the event.
