A woman has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 69-year-old man in Grand Park, Jacksonville, following a stabbing incident that ultimately proved fatal. The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Teri Owens, is currently being held in custody after a week-long investigation led to her arrest.
According to a social media post by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, District 6 officers initially responded to a reported stabbing on West 30th Street last Friday. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim, David Spivey, suffering from a stab wound to his chest. After undergoing emergency surgery, Mr. Spivey succumbed to his injuries.
During the investigation, homicide detectives gathered information at the scene which implicated Owens as the alleged perpetrator.
