
A quiet Sunday afternoon in Kailua turned serious when an SUV overturned near Maluniu Avenue, leaving a man with major injuries and sending him to a nearby hospital, according to emergency officials.

The sole occupant, a man believed to be in his 40s, was treated at the scene and then transported to a nearby emergency room in serious condition.
