Durango Casino and Resort in Las Vegas opened a new high-limit slot room and a large parking garage on its south side Monday evening, News 3 LV reports. The expansion aims to enhance gaming options and accessibility for guests.

Station Casinos celebrated the opening by giving the first 100 guests in the new parking garage scratch cards with prizes, including VIP parking and dining credits, and a chance at a $500 grand prize, 8 News Now reports. The new high-limit room covers 8,000 square feet, featuring 120 slot machines with jackpots up to $1 million.

David Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Durango Casino & Resort, shared with 8 News Now, "We are incredibly proud to unveil the first phase of Durango’s expansion, including one of the city’s nicest high-limit slot rooms." The new gaming space is designed to dial up the exclusivity with high-touch service and a round bar serving up wine and champagne along with 16 multi-game bartop machines, all accented by an LED TV array.

The new parking structure adds nearly 2,000 spaces, with green light indicators for available spots, valet service, and direct covered access for VIP Chairman parking.

Durango Casino plans to add a movie theater and bowling alley, with the full expansion expected to be completed by 2027.
