Homicide Lieutenant Robert Price detailed during a news conference that a verbal altercation between individuals in the middle of the street escalated when someone brandished a gun and shot the victim multiple times. The man, who was seated within his vehicle, succumbed to his injuries. "There appeared to be a verbal argument between a group in the middle of the street, and during the fight, someone took out a gun and shot several times at the victim," Lt. Price said, as reported by 8 News Now.

The suspects, described by Lt. Price as "a group of three or four people," left the scene in an unknown direction before police arrived, as per News 3 LV. The LVMPD Homicide Section is investigating.
