Officer Dinh faces multiple charges, including one count of domestic battery with a deadly weapon, three counts of domestic violence coercion with threats or force, one misdemeanor count of domestic violence coercion, and two counts of first-offense domestic battery. According to a criminal complaint reported by News3LV, Dinh is accused of holding a relative against their will in October 2023, using a gun and strangling them.
Officer Dinh, a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer since 2021 in the Southeast Area Command, was arrested and is now suspended without pay and stripped of his police powers. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. Another officer, Chandler Pike, was arrested on November 28 for domestic violence.
