Las Vegas Fire & Rescue announced that 25 firefighter recruits will graduate today. The ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the theater of Cimarron-Memorial High School, 2301 N. Tenaya Way, according to the City of Las Vegas.
The graduation ceremony marks the completion of training for the 25 firefighter recruits. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m., with photo opportunities starting at 2 p.m. The new firefighters are scheduled to begin service at various city fire stations the following week.
Members of the press are invited to cover the ceremony, and the graduation will also be streamed live on the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue official Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.
