For those living in Area 3, don't expect your bins to be emptied on the usual Thursday slots of December 25 and January 1. According to information provided by the City of Lawton, trash typically collected on Thursday, December 25, will be picked up the following day, Friday, December 26. In the same stroke, the Friday, December 26 pickup for Area 4 has been moved to Saturday, December 27. In a preemptive move, Thursday, January 1 collections for Area 3 will also occur one day prior, on Wednesday, December 31.
