A tragic accident yesterday evening has claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman from Lodi. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Pegeen Razem, who was involved in a vehicle crash on Friendsville Road in Lodi, according to a report by Fox 8. The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 22. Following the crash, Razem was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to an Akron hospital, where she was pronounced dead hours later.
In an update provided by Cleveland 19, Razem was a passenger in the vehicle during the accident. After initially being transported to Lodi Community Hospital, Razem was transferred to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The medical examiner stated that she died several hours after the crash
The specific circumstances of the crash have not been disclosed. Both the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and the Medina Police Department are conducting inquiries into the incident.
